I don't know what's been wrong with me the last 2 weeks, but I just haven't really felt like blogging! That's terrible, I know! I guess it has to do with being swamped with work, dealing with morning sickness and exhaustion, and just being plain ol' busy. I've really missed not posting about my life. Hopefully I'm back now and up to posting regularly again!
Everything is going well with my pregnancy. I had my first ultrasound 2 weeks ago. The baby's heartbeat was good, about 164 and it was measuring right on time! My due date is December 28.
I'm starting to get a little pooch...not too much, but it's definitely there! I'm hoping to get a picture of my baby bump every week from here on out, then when the baby gets here, I'd like to put all of them in a scrapbook. I think it'll be neat to see the progression (and look back to see how little I once was! Ha!).
10 weeks along
Oh, let me show you what else has been growing around here besides me! Check this out:
Our square foot garden on May 1
Here it is on May 25!! And it's grown a ton since then! Jacob was tying up the tomato plants in this picture.
You want to know the secret? It's goat and chicken manure compost! My Granddaddy used it and we used it when I was a kid. It's guaranteed to make your plants strong and healthy and make everyone think that they are on steroids!
Well, that's about all the updates for now. Have a wonderful night!

I can't wait to see your baby bump progression!!! I'm so happy for you! Hopefully, that morning sickness will go away and leave you alone! :)
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Summer
I'm glad you're back! Missed you TONS! I can't believe how huge your garden is! Amazing! That man-ur-e' did the trick! :)
ReplyDeleteI looked really hard and couldn't find the baby bump! ;) Just Kidding-congratulations!! By the way...I so want to do a square foot garden-do you like this method? -Elizabeth (Banister)
ReplyDeleteWhat bump? Where? LoL! You're still so little! It will be fun to see that baby grow!
ReplyDeleteAnd your little garden looks awesome! I want one so bad--and I really think a square foot one is about the size I would need to start off with! I showed my hubby the picture : )
Congrats on your pregnancy! I hope everything goes well!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to commiserate, I haven't felt like blogging much lately either LOL! It must be the beautiful weather or something.
ReplyDeleteI'm awfully impressed by your garden. I'll have to remember about the compost - plan on trying one once we move to Florida
