I always had my hair in pigtails when I was little, so I was super excited the other day when I was able to get Lily's hair into little pigtails!
Someone gave us the set of Your Baby Can Read dvds, so Lily's been watching the starter one for the last week or so. She does pretty good trying to say each word and do the hand motions (i.e. clap, wave, reach, etc).
Have any of you ever used the Your Baby Can Read program? Did it seem to work? Honestly I don't really care if it teaches her to read or not, I'm just thankful that it keeps her occupied for 20 minutes each day. Ha!

Love those pigtails!!
ReplyDeleteLove the pigtails! Benjamin saw the Your Baby Can Read program at a friend's house and he wasn't interested ;D
ReplyDeletePrecious pigtails!! We got some of the DVDs from the library, but Matty was never really that in to them. Baby Einstein is a completely different story. He still loves them!!!

ReplyDeletevery adorable pigtails!~!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the piggies! I agree -- you do learn to be pretty fast with those teensy little hairbands :) Lily has gotten a lot better at sitting still for me, but there are still many days where I just don't mess with it :)
ReplyDeleteI've heard of Your Baby Can Read but don't have any experience with it - I'm curious to see what you think though!
