Today was a pretty low key day. This morning Lily and Levi helped me do laundry and make homemade bread. We played a lot and had fun just being together. We also taped a bunch of books that have gotten torn over the last few months. Usually the books are not intentionally torn, it's just one of those things that happens with two little ones who love to read. We got nearly all of them fixed before we ran out of tape. Lily and I also stitched up one of her baby dolls whose foot had somehow gotten ripped. It's nice to get those projects out of the way. The poor doll has been in baby doll hospital for more months than I care to remember.
This afternoon the kids took good naps and I was able to get out and run a few errands while our mother's helper was at the house.
Lily has been begging to go see the animals at Papaw and Yaya's farm so we went there after taking my helper home. Lily had a great time feeding the goats, petting the dogs, and seeing a brand new baby calf. Levi liked watching everything as long as I was holding him. He's a little nervous around animals.
My Mom fixed breakfast for supper, and it was just delicious!
So, obviously there is no baby yet. I'm honestly feeling great! My house is clean, laundry is caught up, kitchen is well-stocked, and whenever the little guy decides to make his appearance, will be just fine.

I'm glad the house is clean and laundry done... but have you gotten your hair cut and new clothes? :-D
ReplyDeleteYour children sound precious. I love the idea of a mothers helper, we are decently new to our church so I don't know a lot of the younger girls there yet, but it sounds like a great idea for the future! Glad to hear you're feeling well!
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing the children at the farm! Love their little hats, too! Crocheted?
