It really was a great day until the cockroach incident. Everything just went downhill after that. Oh well. That's what makes life interesting, I suppose.

That's pretty cool! I don't think I'd be able to remember all those specifics even if I tried. Poor Lily. It seems her fear of roaches is as big as mine. So gross!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a busy, normal day... until the cockroach. *shudder* I don't blame Lily for screaming OR not being able to go back to sleep!!! Sorry you missed your shower, though, I know how precious those are these days!
ReplyDeleteGah!!! A cockroach?! That's awful! Poor Lily, and you! Otherwise, it was fun reading about a day in your life with 3 little ones :)
ReplyDeleteNever a dull moment! :) Poor Lily (and you!) with the cockroach, gross! I'm just curious what you use to make Asher's formula? I know you've said before that you use goat's milk (or maybe just sometimes?) You've never really mentioned it here, but do you nurse? I'm assuming no, since Asher takes formula. If that's too nosey, no need to answer, I'm just curious. Looks like you sure are busy! That stroller looks amazing - we might need to invest in a sit and stand. Kaden hates being trapped in a stroller! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're such a good mom! I love that you rock and sing to your older children before putting them to bed at night, that's something I struggle with sometimes! And poor Lily! Thanks for sharing, your day sounds pretty similar to mine, and it's very encouraging!! :)
ReplyDeleteWow! What a day! I can't even imagine and I'm sure they days just whiz by in a blur. I am tired just reading about it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping up with your blog even though things are crazy and busy. I love reading about your world.
you are downright amazing. seriously. what a day! And, I know this isn't an exception... it's the rule right now. Praise God for His sustaining power.
ReplyDeleteI remember days JUST like that. well, not the cockroach, but something else inevitably happening like it. Somehow posting about it helps to remind ourselves that we've accomplished something important and that we can make it through another day just like it. :)
ReplyDeleteoh the life of a momma! and yeah def a pretty good day til that cockroach! YIKES!!!!! I would be a little freaked too so I don't blame Lily a bit!
ReplyDeleteWhat a day! It sounds to me like you are busy, busy, busy but you get through it all and enjoy those kiddos!
ReplyDeleteI am curious how you make Asher's formula? Did you make the same formula for your other children? This time around we have been fortunate to still breastfeed (7 months old) but the first child it did not go that way (read - little to no milk supply!)
Have a great weekend!
Wowza! That is quite a day, but it seems like you've hit a nice rhythm (minus the cockroach) with three. I am really glad you posted this... I need all the inspiration I can find, and your humility and humor are at the top of the list!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful family you have!
