Kiddie Carnival

Thank you all for your sweet and encouraging comments on yesterday's post!

Here is the recipe I used for the graham crackers: The Taste Tester Graham Crackers and Milk. I cut the recipe in half, used less sugar, and substituted spelt flour for the regular flour.

There is a kiddie carnival in a nearby town that operates on weekends throughout the summer. We just found out about it this year, and have been wanting to take the kids all summer, but it hadn't worked out with our schedule until last week. Parking and admission are free and the rides and snacks are just .50 cents each!
Asher wasn't too sure about the car ride. He loved sitting in the car until it started going around - then he started puckering up, but he never did cry. Sweet boy!

Lily loved all the rides we did and Levi's favorites were the cars and the train.

When we were done and walking back to our car, we passed a policeman parked on the opposite side of the road. Levi is so into policemen and firemen right now, so he was thrilled to see the police car. He waved to the policeman and the policeman waved back and turned on his lights and shone his spotlight at Levi. Oh my word, it made Levi's night! :)
