Well friends, Lily Grace and I have made it to her due date! I saw the midwife this morning and we are both doing great. We are just waiting for Lily to make her appearance. I am feeling so good physically and emotionally.

Over the last week and a half, I've been anxious and discouraged about when she will finally be born. A few days ago I gave all my worries and burdens to the Lord and He gave me such an amazing peace that has not gone away. Yes, as much as we would love for her to be born before the first of the year (for the tax break, of course. ha!) and before my Daddy flies out of the country for two weeks, I am so thankful that our Father in Heaven knows when she will be born, and that she will not be born any sooner or any later than His appointed time. How precious it is to rest in the knowledge of that!

Congratulations on getting to your due date! (I think!)
ReplyDeleteMy 1st was 4 weeks early, my 2nd 6 days late, which felt like 5 weeks late because of the 1st baby being so early, 3rd was 2 weeks early. All over the place ... crazy, I know!
You only look like you are about 6 months pregnant in your pictures! So adorable!
You look beautiful and your daughter will enter into this world so peacefully! Isn't it great knowing that you can give it to Jesus and not worry about a thing? Can't wait to hear!

As I was looking at your PG pictures, I had to do a double take at the date underneath them... you were so bitty! I think I passed that size by the time I hit 30 weeks! But then again, the bambino was 2 pounds bigger than Lily.
