Happy Due Date!

Well friends, Lily Grace and I have made it to her due date! I saw the midwife this morning and we are both doing great. We are just waiting for Lily to make her appearance. I am feeling so good physically and emotionally.

38 weeks
Over the last week and a half, I've been anxious and discouraged about when she will finally be born. A few days ago I gave all my worries and burdens to the Lord and He gave me such an amazing peace that has not gone away. Yes, as much as we would love for her to be born before the first of the year (for the tax break, of course. ha!) and before my Daddy flies out of the country for two weeks, I am so thankful that our Father in Heaven knows when she will be born, and that she will not be born any sooner or any later than His appointed time. How precious it is to rest in the knowledge of that!

Hope y'all have a wonderful day!

  6. Congratulations on getting to your due date! (I think!)

My 1st was 4 weeks early, my 2nd 6 days late, which felt like 5 weeks late because of the 1st baby being so early, 3rd was 2 weeks early. All over the place ... crazy, I know!

You only look like you are about 6 months pregnant in your pictures! So adorable!

  12. So thankful that all is going well. Waiting is the hardest part, but the Lord gives grace when it is needed. Peace can only come form the Father above. Can't wait to hear of Ms Lilys arrival whenever the Lord decides for her to come.

  14. hey, I jumped over here from Myra's blog. Congratulations on your beautiful baby! As I was looking at your PG pictures, I had to do a double take at the date underneath them... you were so bitty! I think I passed that size by the time I hit 30 weeks! But then again, the bambino was 2 pounds bigger than Lily.
