Today was our first day patching Levi's eye. He did a great job with his snazzy patch, although he did try to get it off and he got frustrated when he ran into things while crawling around. We put it on first thing this morning and he fell asleep for his nap with it on. When he woke up, Lily went in his room to "talk" to him. A few minutes later I heard Levi screaming and Lily was running towards me proudly holding up the patch. Poor baby boy! Lily didn't know it would hurt him to pull it off, so we had a nice little chat about "brother's patch."

Awwww, what a trooper he is! I pray it helps heal his eyes.
ReplyDeleteOh Miss Lily is too sweet. She was probably whisperin' to him, "I'll take this bandaid off your eye for you." :) What a sweet little sister. lol. I'm glad he did so well with it and that your intuition kicked in now than later on when he might not have been so cooperative with it, ya know? Go Levi!!!
ReplyDeletePoor little buddy!!! I bet it was strange for him to have to wear it, but glad he did ok! And Lily pulling it off for him?! I can totally see my kids doing the exact same thing!
