I have missed posting the last few days, but life is just so busy right now. Adjusting to life with a newborn along with Jacob's crazy work schedule starting back and lots of family and church activities, my blog has sadly kind of been put on the back burner. Hopefully I'll be back to regular posting soon!
Daddy arrived home from Northern Ireland last Thursday night! My family kept with our tradition of going to the airport to welcome him home. He didn't know Jacob, Lily and I were going to be there, so it was fun to surprise him!
Waiting with much anticipation for him to get off the plane

I know this picture is pretty dark, but this was his face when he saw that we had come to the airport. I love his and Mom's smiles...priceless!
Papaw meeting his first granddaughter for the first time!
Yes, I was crying! ha.

It was such a precious reunion!
Daddy came over the next day so he could hold Lily and hang out with us. It was the cutest thing when he and Lily both fell asleep in the rocking chair. Wish I'd gotten a picture! Bless his heart, he was still suffering jet lag!
I think Daddy is one of the best grandfathers ever! He is just so proud of his grandkids and they love him so much (well, at least my sweet nephew does, and I know Lily will when she gets a little older!)

Enjoy this time with her, take pictures of her little feet, hands and face, she will grow up so fast, and before you know it, she will be running around and talking...:)
