Lunch Date

Today was a fun day! My brother, Jer, is headed back to college tomorrow to finish his sophomore year, so today all my family (except for Daddy, who flies home from Northern Ireland on Thursday!) got together for lunch at a cute coffee/sandwich shop in our town.

 

Here's the whole gang: Lily, me, Mom, my sister Myra, my nephew Ridley, my bro Luke, my bro Joshua, my bro Jer, Myra's husband Ernie, and Jacob. 

We had a great time talking and spending time together. The food was super yummy too! The coffee/sandwich shop is known for it's amazing chicken salad. I think all of us got either a chicken salad wrap or sandwich!

 

Lily was so good...she slept the whole time. Ha! After lunch all three of my brothers stopped by our house to hold Lily. I was glad Jer got to spend some more time with her since she'll be a lot bigger when he gets to see her next!

 I have such a wonderful family. I'm so thankful for them and for the strong bond of love and friendship we all have! It's such a blessing.

My sister, Myra, has a new blog, My Blessed Life, that I think you should visit! She had a Blogger blog for awhile, but recently switched to Wordpress. I love her new look as well as her new features. She just posted a recipe for Spinach-Artichoke dip that is absolutely amazing! Anyway, I just wanted to tell y'all about it...and no, I'm not getting paid to say that! Haha.
