I thought Lily was in her room playing late this afternoon, but when I went in to check on her about 30 minutes later, I found her sound asleep in her rocker. So sweet.
Levi's been extremely emotional the last couple days. I don't know if he senses that something big is about to change in our home, or what. I think he's teething, and he's getting over a cold, but he has just been very clingy to me. If I even begin to leave his sight, he melts into tears and runs after me as fast as he can...usually falling and ending up crying worse. I'm hoping this is just a little phase he's going through - not that I don't love the extra snuggles, but a little less crying would help this mama's nerves! ha.
We usually go out to eat once a week, either lunch or supper, depending on Jacob's schedule. We rotate between Panera, Five Guys, and Mexican because we can get our food quickly and it's not expensive. The last few weeks when Lily hears us talking about going out to eat, she'll start begging to go to Five Guys. It is her favorite place ever. So tonight we ate there and then went to a frozen yogurt joint for a special treat. It was so fun! There was nobody else there and we let the kids run around and play on the fun chairs. They had a blast! Jacob and I sat watching them and talking about how we can't believe that we're going to have another baby in just a few weeks. Haha.
Have a great weekend!

Sweet girl.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of Lily! What preciousness can do to a mama's heart, yes?
ReplyDeleteI hope this stage for Levi is short, especially for your nerves' sake. Transition times are hard on everyone, but soon he'll have a little brother to love on!
Kelly that picture of Lily is so precious! I like how she made sure that her doll was covered up too before they both fell asleep! (:>)
ReplyDeleteMy kids always got cranky when they were teething. They had runny noses with it too. Levi will be just fine...and he is going to seem so grown up when his baby brother arrives. Maybe he will like his new role as BIG BROTHER! (:>)
You are a good mommy...and things are going to work out wonderfully! After all...you have God with you all the time! (:>) You are always in His care.
Love, Linda
What a sweet picture of Lily! I love times like that. I will be praying that this time of transition goes smoothly and everyone just knows how very much they are secure and loved in their place in the family.
ReplyDeleteaw, how sweet! makes you just want to grab them up and kiss them!
ReplyDeletelove the new look!
