Weekend Recap

We had a great weekend! We spent a bunch of time at the courthouse on Friday getting our passports, renewing cars tags, and changing our voter registration!

We are going to Canada this summer and we heard that everyone, including babies, have to have a passport. After 20 minutes and about 14 pictures later we found out that Lily only needs her birth certificate to go back and forth between the US and Canada! Oh well, at least everyone got a kick out of trying to get a 3 month old's passport picture!

We ran a bunch of errands on Saturday and Lily and I went to a bridal shower. Lily had fun stylin' her new shades! At first she didn't like them but once she figured out that she could still see, she tolerated them. ha!

Sunday was a wonderful day of worship! It is such a blessing to go to a church where God's Word is faithfully preached! I never want to take that for granted. We also enjoyed lots of time with both of our families. Don't you love Lily's bloomers? One of our friends {here is her Etsy shop} monogrammed them for a baby gift. They are still a little big, but they are so cute! 

On Sunday night my nephew wanted to play in Lily's carseat! He reverted to his childhood, I guess. ha! It was too funny not to get a picture of!

This morning my amazingly wonderful husband offered to get up and feed Lily her 6:30 bottle so I could get a little extra sleep! Not only did he feed her, he also washed the dishes leftover from yesterday and cooked a yummy breakfast! It was such a blessing to get an extra hour of sleep.

We are supposed to have beautiful weather this week, so we're planning to spend as much time as possible outside!
