Caffeinated Randomness: Life of Late

As I mentioned earlier in the week, we have been keeping a 15 month old little girl. She has been keeping me so busy, but we've been having tons of fun! In the beginning I was only supposed to keep her Tuesday and Wednesday, but it's turned out that I'm keeping her until tomorrow night! I don't mind at all. I love the opportunity!

Here's a recap of what we've done the last few days. Of course there are bunches of pictures. ha!

We've played outside a ton since the weather has been so nice!

She loves snack time...chocolate chip cookies are the best messy-face makers!

I've enjoyed naptime. ha! I seriously found her asleep like this one day. My sister tells me this is the way I used to sleep.

We went to Walmart and got some magnetic letters. She loves playing with them!

We also got sidewalk chalk and drew pictures for "Uncle Jacob" to see when he got home from teaching.

We ran a bunch of errands and she got worn out! Do you like her hairbow? You should have seen all the attention she got because of it. ha!

We've gone for lots of walks around the neighborhood

Such a fun and happy little girl!

It's bath time now, so I'd better go. Hope y'all have a Happy Friday!!! For more Caffeinated Randomness visit Under Grace and Over Coffee.

  3. Thank you for sharing. What fun you've had. You are going to be such a great Mom!

I'm an Early Childhood Ed teacher and you're totally on target with those magnetic letters. Not only is she gaining alphabet sense, letter recognition, and differentiation of print, but having her work at the refrigerator standing at her level is awesome.

The Early Childhood Occupational Therapist at my preschool talks about the importance of developing that upper body strength in such a simple way as having the children stand and work at an easel, or at a standing mirror or at the refrigerator.

Have a blessed day with that sweet little girl.

  4. Love the hair accessories!

My kids all loved the magnetic letters - they all learned to spell their names and "mom" with them. And I'm pretty sure I cried over each one!
